I gotta tell ya - I've been listening to JB & Sandy for 7 years from 6 to10 (after I get to work even) and I think I've found a new morning radiohome at another station simply because Jb & Sandy are never there - Ilistened to the other station last week when they were on yet anothervacation and now I've just heard that they are off again tomorrow! Mygoodness, I work for the school system and they get more vacation than I do- plus they are never there at 6am.
Good luck to them and the show (when it is actually on, they are quiteentertaining) and I'm sure you guys (especially them) could care less aboutonly one listener but I'm otta here. Keep in mind for every one of me thatspeaks my mind, how many others there are who say nothing - just switchthe dial.

While I get his point...we get used to hearing y'all and miss you when you're gone...you are people too and deserve your vacation just like everyone else. Does he (and everyone else that complains) think that you and JB should never take a vacation? That's crazy. Does he think that only one of you should be gone at a time? What good would the show be then?
People are idiots. Some just hide it better than others.
ps....what does your boss say when he gets emails like that?
I hate it when you guys are gone but this past week it really made me miss Autumn. Hearing her on the radio made me think of good times. You need to reply to this guy and let him know you didn't take a Honeymoon you are so dedicated to the show! Also point out the fact how long you have been there and you have lots of vacation...kinda like a teacher who has a 3 month vacation??? ;)
I don't think you take an unreasonable amount of vacation - you take 2 separate weeks in the summer, and then a week at Christmas, right? You can't count days that you miss for professional reasons, like attending conferences, etc.
Besides, I like when you play some of the old re-runs - the other day you played one with Autumn. I STILL miss Autumn.
Too bad you can't email his boss whenever he goes on vacation and complain, right? You've had this job for how many years? You work hard for those 4 hours every day :) You deserve every vacation you get! You guys rock, don't let one turd spoil your holiday.
I have to agree with the letter somewhat. I've listened for about 11 years now. I love the show, and I'm not planning on leaving, but many times I switch the dial when you aren't there. Why does everyone have to be gone at the same time? Couldn't you guys spread out your vacation so that only one of you are gone at a time, and the other ones can carry the show. It definitely seems that you are out much more than 2 wks a year. Am I wrong? I think that letter had valid points, and I don't feel she deserves to be called an idiot because she wrote them down. In 11 years this is the first thing I have ever written or communicated with the show. I have a million positives to say about the show too but I don't believe she's an idiot because she disagrees with others. I think it is a valid view, and she is probably talking for a lot of people. (I don't know if I would have sent it to the boss, but it is valid)
How dare you take a vacation! You need to be here for us 365 days a year! :)

Personally, I love hearing the old clips, because there is alwasy something that I missed.

Man, I only wish I could work in one job for 12 years and get the associated accolades and vacation that goes with that. I say you've earned your vacation time, so you gotta take it. I even like sometimes when you play clips where i've called in and made JB laugh, yea, good times.....
Oh hey, when you do the "Best of" shows, you should dig up some of the really old Funky and Bridget stuff of yesteryear. You know, when JB was single and Sandy was (unhappily) married. Like I said, Good times....
I am always so bummed when I turn on the radio at 6am and don't hear the rooster...but I would never be upset enough to write to your boss! You guys deserve your vacation, of course. We just miss you when you're gone! I agree with the others - adds to the "missing Autumn" feeling when I hear her voice again.
Some people just have too much time on their hands. I certainly miss ya'll when you're gone, but jeez, everyone needs a vacation. Maybe he's/she's just jealous and would like to be on vacation somewhere nice also.
The only problem I had with it was like some of the others, at first I thought Autumn was back, and was bummed to find out she wasn't.
