I love Dikembe! We went to Georgetown University together, and I was on the swim team there, and one day as I was walking to the athletic center to go to practice, he came up beside me, saw all my H2OYA swim gear, and asked me to teach him how to swim. He said he never learned and would love one of the swimmers to teach him. I just laughed it off - but now I wish I had taken him seriously!
Not all of the Gtown basketball players were such nice guys, but he was a class act even then.
