Bachelor Abuse
ANOTHER "BACHELOR" RELATIONSHIP MAY HAVE ENDED . . . THIS TIME WITH DOMESTIC VIOLENCE:
As you may know, the most recent guy on "The Bachelor" picked . . . NO ONE. And it looks like he made the right choice. After 11 seasons of "The Bachelor" and three seasons of the "The Bachelorette", only two of the 14 couples are still together.
--And one of THOSE couples may be in the process of breaking up right now. Season six "Bachelor" BYRON VELVICK is still engaged to the woman he chose back in 2004 . . . but she was arrested last week for assaulting him.
--Early Wednesday morning, just after midnight, former NFL cheerleader MARY DELGADO was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery. She allegedly punched Byron in the face, while under the influence of alcohol.
--Ironically, they'd just appeared on a special episode of "The Bachelor" called "After the Final Rose". On that show, which just aired Tuesday night, they announced that they were finally planning on getting married next November.
(--The "New York Daily News" says it was taped a few days before its broadcast.)
--There's no word if this will kill their relationship. If it does, the only remaining "Bachelor" couple will be TRISTA and RYAN SUTTER. . . (--from the first season of "The Bachelorette" in 2003.) They're married and had a son this summer.
